LEED Green Associate

Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or LEED is the most distinguished and widely accepted environmental design and green building certification or professional accreditation. Achieving the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Associate (LEED GA) credential allows you to market your comprehension of green building to prospective employers. This is the first level of the LEED professional credential which is designed for professionals who want to demonstrate green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice, and to demonstrate basic knowledge of green design, construction, and operations.

Under the new USGBC guidelines, a person is obligated to pass the LEED GA exam before achieving the LEED AP + Specialty title.
