What are Turner School's hours of operation?
Turner School is open Monday - Saturday (except federal holidays). Monday - Thursday we are open 10 am until 9 pm. Fridays we are open 10 am until 6 pm. Saturdays we are open from 10 am through the end of our last class, call to see if we are open.
What Transportation is nearest to turner school
The A, C, E (8th avenue train lines); 1, 2, 3, 9 (7th avenue train lines); D, F, N, R, V (6th avenue train lines); 4, 5, 6 (Madison avenue train lines); Long Island Railroad and Path trains to 34th street.
What is required to enroll in a class at Turner?
Customers must fill out an enrollment agreement and leave a deposit. Some classes require a copy of a high school diploma or GED. Please note that enrollment for any particular course in not considered valid until the Enrollment Agreement and all supporting documentation is reviewed and signed by a licensed agent of Turner School.
When can a prospective student register for a class?
Students can register for classes at any time during our regular business hours.
Can a student register the day of the class?
Turner School has a limit to the amount of students per class, at which point no more registrations are possible. Due to this fact, we encourage our prospective students to register as soon as possible before the start date of the class in order to guarantee a seat. Registration is at first-come, first-serve basis.
What form of payments does Turner take?
We accept Cash, Checks, Money Orders, Visa or Mastercard. Please note that in order to safeguard the privacy of our customer; Turner does not keep credit card information on file.
Are there separate material costs other than the tuition?
There is no additional costs. All of the student's books and supplies are included in the tuition payment, and are clearly outlined in the Enrollment Agreement for the particular course. There may be additional testing fees for any individual course payable to a licensing body, certifying organization, or testing facility. Please speak to a Turner Representative regarding details for any individual course.
What type of online material does Turner School provide?
At Turner we try to provide our customers with every possible advantage to be successful. That now includes allowing them access to study material online; including practice quizzes, class presentations and flash software. Please note that Turner does not have "Online Only" courses.
I am a current student at Turner, how do I login and access my online material?
In order to login to the website material, click on "Login" located in the main menu or the button in the footer. Enter your login name and password, and you will be ready to work! If there are any issues, call us at (212) 736-1507 or email us!
Can someone register for the online material only?
No. The online material is meant to supplement information that is taught in the classroom. It is very important for our students to come to every class, and also use the online material as well.
Can customers share their online login information with others?
Absolutely NOT. Turner School is able to track every customer's online usage, and we will permanently delete the account of any customer who is found to have shared their login information illegally with others.
